The services surveys are carried out in order to have direct information of the services sector for the short-term analysis, being one of the most important sectors in the national economy, in terms of participation in the Gross Domestic Product and of job creation.

The Monthly Services Survey aims to develop economic indicators and the measurement of the evolution of the activities, which contributes significantly to improve the estimation of the Monthly Indicator of the National Production and the Quarterly Gross Domestic Product.
