Sector services provided to companies increased 3.46% in December 2025

The National Institute of Statistics and Informatics (INEI) informed that, during December 2025, the sector Services Provided to Companies registered a growth of 3.46%, compared to the same month of the year 2024, explained by the positive performance of its four components.
Likewise, informed that the sector closed 2025 with an increase of 3.66%, compared to the registered in 2024.
Professional, scientific and technical activities increased by 2.76%
During the last month of 2025, professional, scientific and technical activities showed a progress of 2.76%, compared to the same month of the last year, favored by the activity of architecture and engineering, in response to the development of infrastructure projects for mining, road works and airports, participation in tenders and services of basic and detailed engineering.
The sector of essays and technical analysis grew due to the influence of orders of geochemical, hydrobiological sampling certification of agriculture products and essays of food products. management consultancy activities increased due to the management of new ventures and business models, services of management consulting and growing strategies.
In addition, legal services increased before the requirement of legal advice in areas of areas of labor, family, corporative and penal right; as well the accounting activities, bookkeeping, auditing and counselling in matter of taxes before the requirement of tax and financing auditing and services of accounting outsourcing.
Activities of administrative and support services increased by 4.29%
During December of 2025, activities of administrative and support services increased by 4.29%, compared to the same month of the year 2024, due to the development of activities of private security and security systems, associated to greater contracts of vigilance, personal safeguard, value transfer and custody of goods.
Rent and operating leasing activities grew due to greater work fronts, high demand of equipment’s and heavy machinery for construction sector (drills, excavators, front loaders). Call center activities grew due to customer service and telemarketing, in sales of products and services, launching, offers and special campaigns. Collection agencies and credit information increased before the greater assignation of debt portfolio and collection management.
Activities of temporary work agencies increased due the sought and contract of specialized personnel for temporary campaigns. At the same time, general cleaning of buildings registered an increase due to integral cleaning of installations, mainly in commercial centers, departments, offices, hospitals and airports.
Advertising and market research increased by 5.33%
During the last month of the year 2025, advertising and market research expanded by 5.33%, compared to the same month of the year 2024, due to the participation of the advertising activity based in campaigns of spring-summer station, Christmas and End of the Year parties, with digital advertising in social media, use of programmed advertising and optimization in search motors (SEO).
In this evolution was added the omnichannel marketing (channel integration) of traditional media such as television, radio and static and dynamic panels. Market research and perform of surveys of public opinion progressed as a result of new marketing studies (consumer profile, behavior, customer preferences), survey of voting intentions and elections conjuncture.
Travel agencies and tour operators registered an increase of 4.91%
During December of 2025, services of travel agencies and tour operators increased by 4.91%, compared to the same month of the year 2024, based in the dynamism of travel agencies in response of the arrival of international tourist, promotion of travel packages, air tickets, additional services of accommodation, transportation, food and insurance, guided tours, as well as cruises tickets.
In addition, it influenced the international campaigns promoted by PROMPERÚ and the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism MINCETUR), that under the slogan “Your best cabbala is travel and reactivate”, encouraged the domestic and receptive tourism during the season of the end of the year. Likewise, tour operators grew due to the extension of personalized packages, full days, excursions, circuits and group travels.
